Education & Community Engagement

Help inspire the next generation of artists and audiences by supporting Spoleto Festival USA’s education and community engagement initiatives.

Sponsor an Artist

Your support helps bring extraordinary artists to Spoleto Festival USA and makes unforgettable performances possible. By sponsoring a Chamber Music artist or an Orchestra or Chorus fellow, you invest directly in the Festival’s artistic excellence while creating a meaningful personal connection to the artists you help bring to Charleston.

The Bank of America Chamber Music series is one of Spoleto Festival USA’s defining artistic traditions. Curated by Paul Wiancko, Charles E. and Andrea L. Volpe Director of Chamber Music, the series brings together an exceptional roster of internationally acclaimed musicians for performances that can only happen at Spoleto.

Each season, the Festival invests $10,000–$16,000 per artist, covering artist fees, housing, travel, and other essential expenses. Your sponsorship plays a vital role in making these extraordinary performances possible.

Sponsorship Opportunities

As a Chamber Music Artist Sponsor, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet your sponsored artist during the Festival.

Each year, Spoleto Festival USA assembles its Orchestra and Chorus through a nationwide audition process, bringing together some of the country’s most talented emerging musicians.

The Festival provides these artists with an unparalleled professional training experience—working alongside renowned conductors, directors, and guest artists while performing in world-class productions. Many alumni go on to successful careers with leading orchestras and opera companies around the world.

The cost to support each Orchestra or Chorus fellow—including artist compensation, housing, and related expenses—is approximately $3,000.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsors are paired with their fellow and invited to meet them during a special Festival event, offering a unique opportunity to learn about their artistic journey and experience the impact of your generosity firsthand.
